boissons faisant l\u2019objet de publicit\u00e9s visant les enfants sont des aliments transform\u00e9s, riches en sucre, en sel ou en gras satur\u00e9s, ce qui a un effet d\u00e9vastateur sur la sant\u00e9 des enfants et peut provoquer des tensions familiales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Des recherches ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les publicit\u00e9s d\u2019aliments et de boissons ont un impact sur\u00a0:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">les aliments que les enfants mangent;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">leurs pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences et croyances alimentaires;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">les aliments qu\u2019ils r\u00e9clament \u00e0 leurs parents;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l\u2019augmentation du taux d\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 infantile;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l\u2019augmentation des facteurs de risque de maladies chroniques telles que le diab\u00e8te, les maladies du c\u0153ur, l\u2019AVC et le cancer.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avoir une alimentation saine est l\u2019une des choses les plus importantes que nous puissions faire pour notre sant\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, et les enfants m\u00e9ritent d\u2019\u00eatre prot\u00e9g\u00e9s contre le caract\u00e8re persuasif et envahissant des publicit\u00e9s d\u2019aliments et de boissons. Le 24\u00a0octobre\u00a02016, la ministre f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de la Sant\u00e9 a lanc\u00e9 une strat\u00e9gie en mati\u00e8re de saine alimentation dans le cadre de la vision du gouvernement pour un Canada en bonne sant\u00e9. L\u2019interdiction de la publicit\u00e9 d\u2019aliments et de boissons \u00e0 faible valeur nutritive s\u2019adressant aux enfants \u00e9tait l\u2019une des initiatives cl\u00e9s de la strat\u00e9gie, mais cet engagement n\u2019a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 respect\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En limitant l\u2019influence de la publicit\u00e9 de boissons et d\u2019aliments visant les enfants et leur exposition \u00e0 celle-ci, nous les prot\u00e9geons et soutenons leurs parents, qui les guident dans l\u2019adoption d\u2019habitudes et de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences alimentaires saines.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Aggravation des tendances en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 au Canada<\/b><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pr\u00e8s de 60\u00a0% des calories consomm\u00e9es par les enfants (de 9\u00a0\u00e0 13\u00a0ans) proviennent d\u2019aliments ultra-transform\u00e9s.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pr\u00e8s d\u2019un jeune sur trois \u00e2g\u00e9 de 5 \u00e0 17 ans est en surpoids ou ob\u00e8se, ce qui repr\u00e9sente un facteur de risque de maladie du c\u0153ur et d\u2019AVC.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les facteurs de risque de maladies du c\u0153ur et d\u2019AVC pr\u00e9coces, d\u2019hypertension art\u00e9rielle et de diab\u00e8te chez les enfants au pays atteignent des proportions \u00e9pid\u00e9miques.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au cours des 70\u00a0derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, la consommation d\u2019aliments transform\u00e9s et ultra-transform\u00e9s a doubl\u00e9 au pays.
