Plus de 120\u202forganismes et d\u00e9fenseurs de la sant\u00e9 des enfants \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale appellent nos gouvernements \u00e0 restreindre ce type de publicit\u00e9s s\u2019adressant aux enfants.\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">La Coalition Arr\u00eatons la pub destin\u00e9e aux enfants recommande que le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral publie sans plus tarder un projet de r\u00e8glement (Gazette du Canada, Partie\u202fI) visant \u00e0 interdire la publicit\u00e9 d\u2019aliments et de boissons \u00e0 teneur \u00e9lev\u00e9e en sel, en sucre et en gras satur\u00e9s aupr\u00e8s des enfants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Concr\u00e8tement, nous recommandons que le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral donne instruction \u00e0 Sant\u00e9 Canada de publier imm\u00e9diatement le r\u00e8glement dans la Partie II de la Gazette du Canada. Nous estimons qu\u2019il est justifi\u00e9 de renoncer \u00e0 la publication dans la Partie 1 de la Gazette du Canada, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 les multiples cycles de consultations men\u00e9s sur une d\u00e9cennie et l\u2019existence de donn\u00e9es probantes solides en faveur d\u2019une intervention.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Malgr\u00e9 son triste bilan, l\u2019industrie alimentaire et publicitaire voudrait nous faire croire que son nouveau <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Code des pratiques responsables en mati\u00e8re de publicit\u00e9 sur les aliments et les boissons destin\u00e9e aux enfants<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> lanc\u00e9 en juin\u00a02023 vise v\u00e9ritablement \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger les jeunes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En outre, le code de l\u2019industrie ne s\u2019applique pas \u00e0 des m\u00e9dias importants tels que les sites\u00a0Web qui sont populaires aupr\u00e8s de publics diversifi\u00e9s et les m\u00e9dias sociaux qui ne sont pas destin\u00e9s aux enfants.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il exclut \u00e9galement plusieurs types de strat\u00e9gies publicitaires qui influent sur les enfants, notamment les emballages de produits, les publicit\u00e9s au lieu de vente, les offres de cadeaux (p.\u00a0ex. des jouets), la publicit\u00e9 de marques et le recours \u00e0 des personnages de dessins anim\u00e9s ou \u00e0 des influenceuses et influenceurs adultes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le verdict est sans appel\u00a0: l\u2019autor\u00e9glementation par l\u2019industrie ne fonctionne pas. Ce projet de loi f\u00e9d\u00e9rale d\u2019initiative parlementaire vise \u00e0 modifier la <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Loi sur les aliments et drogues<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\"> afin d\u2019interdire les publicit\u00e9s d\u2019aliments \u00e0 teneur \u00e9lev\u00e9e en sucre, gras satur\u00e9s et sel s\u2019adressant aux enfants de moins de 13\u202fans. En d\u00e9pit des progr\u00e8s significatifs r\u00e9alis\u00e9s,<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"none\">le projet de loi est finalement mort au Feuilleton lorsque des \u00e9lections ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clench\u00e9es en mars 2025<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"2\" data-list-defn-props=\"{\" data-aria-posinset=\"38\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Le 9\u202ff\u00e9vrier\u202f2022\u202f: <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">La d\u00e9put\u00e9e lib\u00e9rale Patricia\u202fLattanzio a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 le projet de loi\u202fC-252 \u00e0 la Chambre des communes. Propos\u00e9 en\u00a02016, le projet de loi est mort au feuilleton apr\u00e8s la dissolution du Parlement pour les \u00e9lections f\u00e9d\u00e9rales de 2019. De plus amples renseignements sur le projet de loi\u00a0S-228 se trouvent ci-dessous.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>27\u00a0septembre\u00a02016\u00a0:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> la s\u00e9natrice Nancy\u00a0Greene\u00a0Raine d\u00e9pose le projet de loi sur la protection de la sant\u00e9 des enfants (projet de loi\u00a0S-228). Il vise \u00e0 interdire la publicit\u00e9 d\u2019aliments et de boissons destin\u00e9e principalement aux enfants.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parl.ca\/LegisInfo\/fr\/projet-de-loi\/42-1\/s-228\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En savoir plus<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>28\u00a0septembre\u00a02017\u00a0:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> le projet de loi\u00a0S-228 franchit l\u2019\u00e9tape de la troisi\u00e8me lecture au S\u00e9nat, sans amendements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>6\u00a0octobre\u00a02017\u00a0:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> la Chambre des communes examine le premier projet de loi f\u00e9d\u00e9rale visant \u00e0 interdire la publicit\u00e9 d\u2019aliments et de boissons aupr\u00e8s des enfants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>12\u00a0d\u00e9cembre\u00a02017\u00a0:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> deux amendements au projet de loi\u00a0S-228 sont d\u00e9pos\u00e9s \u00e0 la Chambre des communes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"4\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La limite d\u2019\u00e2ge est modifi\u00e9e, passant de 16\u00a0ans ou moins \u00e0 12\u00a0ans ou moins, et un m\u00e9canisme de r\u00e9vision de la loi cinq ans apr\u00e8s son entr\u00e9e en vigueur est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"4\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les commandites sportives communautaires sont exempt\u00e9es du champ d\u2019application de la loi.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>19\u00a0septembre\u00a02018\u00a0: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">le projet de loi\u00a0S-228 franchit l\u2019\u00e9tape de la troisi\u00e8me lecture \u00e0 la Chambre des communes, puis est transmis au S\u00e9nat avec deux amendements mineurs en octobre\u00a02018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>21\u00a0juin\u00a02019\u00a0: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">le S\u00e9nat ajourne ses travaux pour l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9, sans tenir un vote concernant le projet de loi\u00a0S-228.
